Dempsey Car and Van Spares Terms and Conditions

Our full guarantee and trading terms are as follows:

Most vehicles and parts of vehicles sold from Dempsey’s are auto salvage, therefore second hand and are sold as such.

Whilst we endeavour to give good value to all our customers, we cannot guarantee each part to be absolutely perfect.

This is reflected in our prices when they are compared to brand new items.

We will always try to supply the exact part that you the customer require.

However due to the variations in make, model, design and years of all cars, vans and jeeps manufactured,

we cannot give any guarantee that any parts are correct for your particular vehicle.

It’s always advantageous if a sample part or part number can be supplied.

In the event that a part purchased is not correct for the particular vehicle we will attempt to replace the part with the correct one

if returned within 28 working days.

If a replacement part cannot be supplied a full refund will be given


Replacement or refund will only be given with original receipt or invoice.

Any tampering or removal of our marking on parts will result in NO refund given.

No warranty will be given with ignitions, fuse boxes, relays, ecu’s or other related electrical items.

This is as a result of potential damage caused by in-correct fitting or other faults in customer vehicles.

All engines fitted by us are correctly fitted with new cam and auxiliary belts, oil, oil filters and spark plugs and come with a 3-month Guarantee.

We recommend all Engines and Gearboxes not fitted by us are fitted with the relevant timing belts, filters etc as we have no history on the vehicles we purchase.

We will not reimburse any labour costs/ changes involved with fitting removal and/ or changing of parts supplied by us under any circumstances.

We cannot be held responsible for faults, damage or losses caused by the fitting of parts off site.

We are not responsible if any vehicle is off the road over and above the 28-day limit from which the part was purchased.

Returning the part within the 28-day period is the customer’s responsibility.

These terms of business are not intended to restrict your statutory rights or exclude any legal rights bestowed or implied by law.
